dutch star football player jermain lens started jourmáin and is ambitious in all the right ways: some of the best people in the dutch fashion industry are on board. fashion illustrator and creative consultant piet paris designed the logo and the impressive décor, which set an ultra chic middle ages fairytale vibe.

we had to hold back music wise but at the same time had to create a sound score of royal grandeur. we also had to make sure the show had to have clear a positive feel: jourmáin’s message to the world is ‘a bright new future’.

we used the sounds of music boxes throughout the show, combined with modern classical music and avant garde pop by the likes of rené aubry, gonzales, pascal comelade, 3 titans, hugues le bars and philip glass.

the show and the collection were impressive, the kids strutting down the runway turned out to be mini supermodels. we loved being part of this team and are pretty proud of the sound track. jermaine lens was still in brazil for the world cup, so could not take his bow at the end of the show, but the audience didn’t seem to care: the applause was as impressive as the show. big up to jourmáin!
